A note from Tommy: I recently began asking myself what I wanted to get out of the rest of my career. The one thought I kept coming back to was that I wanted to fulfill the dream I had when I was a student: becoming a physics professor. So I chose to pursue that dream again! I've had a great time over the last 15 years as a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, and I look forward to the next 15 years or more as a professor of physics, immersed among my new colleagues and teaching students who share the aspirations and passion for learning physics I had at their stage. Cheers everybody!
